About us

Hello! My name is Logan Napolsky and I have ten years’ experience directing camp operations at Kid’s Day Out and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I am a licensed elementary school teacher with a degree in Psychology.

Eleven years years ago, my wife Kelly D’Amour and I packed our bags and moved to Southern and Eastern Africa where we started a literacy program at a local, community library and had the opportunity to teach English and Math at an all-girls high school. After 14 months in Africa, we continued our journey, traveling through Asia, Central America, and South America.

In 2021 we welcomed our first son, Asher, to the family and turned our travels to the United States. We converted a Bluebird Bus to our full time home and have been exploring the US of A ever since. We return to California each summer to run children’s summer camps (and to visit the grandparents!).

My mother-in-law, June D’Amour, has been the Director of Kid’s Day Out since 1991 (originally called Mother’s Day Out), connecting parents to affordable, reliable childcare for 30 years.
